Apple HomeKit on Heatmiser Neo

HomeKit is the smart home framework from Apple, bringing a common platform to control all of your home’s compatible accessories.

HomeKit accessories, such as the Heatmiser neoHub, have passed extensive testing by Apple which means when you see the Works with HomeKit logo you can be sure of a great user experience.

HomeKit works on all your iOS devices, from iPhone and iPad to the 4th Generation Apple TV. Control of your home from just about anywhere is possible when you have a 4th Generation Apple TV and smart automation rules are possible, making your smart home even smarter!

With the new Home app, you can securely control all of your HomeKit accessories. You can use the Home app to turn the heating up or lights down and with the help of Apple TV you can do all of this remotely too.

Google Home on Heatmiser Neo

Google Home speakers enable users to speak voice commands to interact with services through Google’s intelligent personal assistant called Google Assistant.

Using the Google Assistant and Heatmiser Neo you can interact with the accessories in your home by voice commands. You can say for example “OK Google, Set the Temperature in the Living Room to 21” or “OK Google, Turn the heating off in the Living Room”

Using Google Assistant on your Android or iOS mobile device, you can interact with your Heatmiser Neo system whilst you are out of home. Now you can ask the Google Assistant to turn up the heating or the hot water ready for when you return home!

Note: Google Assistant is a standalone app on iOS available for free from the Apple AppStore.

The Heatmiser neoStat is 230v powered and is the ideal upgrade route for those with an existing mains powered thermostat. neoStat can operate in Timer or Heating Mode and can be used with remote sensors.

The neoAir is ideal for those looking for a totally wire free solution of your heating & hot water. Both the UH8-RF and RF Switch receivers are compatible with the neoAir.

  • 5/2 Day Mode is ideal for those who keep to one schedule Monday - Friday and another for the weekend. 7 Day mode allows you to have a different schedule for each day of the week, ideal for families with changing schedules.

  • The neoStat Series has an adjustable switching differential from 0.5°C - 3°C. This function allows you to get even tighter control of your heating system.

  • A function designed to protect your home against frost. An adjustable frost temperature level can be programmed, between 7°C -17°C, ensuring your home is always protected against the elements whilst you are away.

  • The neoStat Series offer optimum start, a feature were the thermostat calculates the amount of heat up time required.

  • Locking the thermostat keypad is an easy way to save energy. Allowing access to only those that require it.

  • The neoStat & neoAir are perfect for the new build & retrofit market. Whereas the neoStat is mains powered, the neoAir is battery powered and so is ideal for extensions or where mains cable hasn’t been installed for the thermostat.
